At Bike Shed we know the pressure you can feel when in a large commercial studio, paying commercial studio prices and getting red-light fever. Feeling comfortable when you're recording is so important, so we aim to take all of this pressure away by offering a relaxed, inspiring, cost effective space, allowing you to focus solely on the music and getting the best final results for your project.
As a professional musician with 15+ years of experience in the industry, Liam has set up Bike Shed knowing exactly what musicians what to get from their time in the studio, and how to help craft & develop ideas from demo stage right through to final release.
SOUNDS
We're big fans of keeping things simple when recording at Bike Shed, inspired by music of the 60s & 70s, old school studios such as Daptone & Motown, and producers such as Tchad Blake & Gabe Roth amongst others.
We take an old fashioned approach to production with a modern twist, ensuring we get the best takes possible and the sounds right at the source, rather than a 'fix it in the mix' approach. But were also big fans of experimenting, finding unusual or new ways of getting the sounds that you have in your head!
